Meet Miss Sabrina

Many of you have come to know Miss Sabrina since she joined the York Day team last fall, but we’re excited to share some more about her!

Sabrina came to us with over fifteen years of early childhood education experience. Prior to joining York Day, she was Center Director for U-Gro Learning Centres, where she also served as Assistant Center Director starting in 2016. Prior to her time at U-Gro, Sabrina spent time at the YWCA Early Learning Center and KinderCare Learning Center. Sabrina has an associate degree in early childhood education from Harrisburg Area Community College, and a director credential from Penn State University.

Sabrina has received multiple awards and recognition in her career. She is a four-time recipient of the Outstanding Early Childhood Professional Award from the York Early Learning Consortium. She has also received the White Rose Award from the York Early Learning Consortium and the Leadership Award from U-Gro Learning Centres.

In addition to her time working with young children and their families, she spends time at home with her husband Adam, her sons Kellen and Liam, and her two cats.

After successfully opening our York Tech location in November 2021, Sabrina agreed to step in at our Philadelphia Street location earlier this year.

“Sabrina is truly committed to our mission and our organization,” York Day President &; CEO Brian Grimm says, “we know that we can count on her to get the job done to the highest standard of excellence. We are very lucky to have her on our team.”

Miss Sabrina is just one of a whole team of people working every day to make York Day the best it can be. Stay tuned for next month when we’ll introduce you to another member of our team!
